Znojmo–Chvalovice–Šatov Cycle Route: Discover the Wine Region by Bike

The new Znojmo–Chvalovice–Šatov cycle route links the wine cellars of the Znojmo region with Austria.
The Znojmo region is ideal for all kinds of cycling. It offers safe routes for leisure cyclists, marked mountain bike trails, good roads for road cyclists and varied terrain for gravel riders – and e-bikes are very welcome, too.

The Znojmo Wine Trail
At around 190 km, the Znojmo Wine Trail is the longest of the 10 Moravian Wine Trails. It connects more than 55 wine villages and runs from Znojmo through Podyjí National Park and the Miroslav area all the way to Dolní Kounice.
Main sections and highlights:
Southern section (Znojmo–Šatov–Chvalovice): Šatov, Nový Šaldorf-Sedlešovice, Hnanice, Vrbovec, Hrádek. Authentic wine cellar lanes.
Northern section: Prosiměřice, the Miroslav area and on to Dolní Kounice.
Podyjí National Park: The very popular route between Šatov and Znojmo offers more varied and demanding terrain amid beautiful nature.
